Duct tape, gaffer tape and fabric tape differ not only in their synonymous terms, but mainly in their adhesive strength, backing material and area of application. Typical variants are:
Fabric tape as repair tape: Universal, yet specially designed for sealing leaks or quickly patching tarpaulins and hoses. Our fabric adhesive tapes (duct tape, gaffer tape) WT-5543, WT-5561 and WT-5562 are ideal for this purpose. These are also frequently used in the event industry or industry to fix and secure cables. It can be removed without leaving any residue.
Coloured fabric tape: Our WT-5561 and WT-5562 are also used for marking and labelling, for example. They are available in many colours and neon colours to demarcate areas or identify tools, for example. They are also ideal for highlighting edges, door frames, steps, columns or shelf corners. After use, they can be removed without leaving any residue.
Temperature-resistant fabric tape: For demanding applications with high temperatures and loads, a fabric adhesive tape made of glass fibre materials with special silicone adhesive is suitable. Our WT-6332 is particularly resilient and can withstand temperatures of up to 260°C.
Segmented fabric tape as dots or pads: The use of segmented adhesive pads is particularly useful in industry. The pre-cut elements make work processes more efficient.
